OMIRA is a mobile app (iOS) that lets you import reference images, overlay them on the camera, and take photos. This privacy policy explains what personal data we process, for what purposes, and on what legal basis — when you use the app, visit our website, or contact us.
You can use OMIRA as a guest. In that case, your reference images, captured photos, and settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not access your photos in this mode as long as you do not sign in or trigger cloud sync.
Purpose: Providing app functionality.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional app).
If you create an account or sign in, we process:

For signed-in users, the following data may be stored in the cloud:

Server location / processing: depending on project configuration in the EU and/or USA. EU Standard Contractual Clauses may apply.

If you send anonymous feedback through the app, we transmit the text you enter plus technical metadata (operating system, app version). Providing your email is not required.
Delivery to our support address is handled via Web3Forms (operator: Web3Forms). Feedback may also be stored in our Supabase database.

If you email us at support@omira-app.com, we process the data you provide (email address, message content).

When you visit this website, technically necessary server log data may be processed (IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type). All-Inkl or our hosting provider processes this data on our behalf to provide the website.

Signed-in users can permanently delete their account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your auth account, associated cloud data, and stored image files from our cloud storage. Data stored locally on the device may need to be removed separately by uninstalling the app.
We share personal data only when necessary to perform the contract or you have consented:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible is usually that of your place of residence. A list is available at bfdi.bund.de.
Providing personal data is neither legally nor contractually required — however, without camera/photo permissions the core functionality of the app is not usable. Sign-in is optional; without an account, cloud features are unavailable.
We may update this privacy policy when the app, legal requirements, or our processes change. The current version is available at this URL. For material changes, we will inform you in the app where required.
